Flight Guide has served general aviation for over 35 years, and the people at Airguide Publications have the experience and know-how to provide the coverage, detail, and supplementary information you need in today's complex aviation environment.

Flight Guide helps eliminate the uncertainty involved in arriving at an unfamiliar airport. You have a clear, graphic representation of the field for ready reference, with Traffic-Pattern altitude, Tower, CTAF and other frequencies in the order needed, easy to locate at a glance. Plus, Flight Guide gives the support information you need after you're on the ground.

Airports are indexed by name and associated city in the front of each state section to enable quick access. For convenience, airport identifiers are also listed in this handy index. In addition, Flight Guide lists all navaids for each state alphabetically at the end of each section.

Features:

  • Airport name, associated city, identifier and elevation
  • Longitude, latitude and location from city
  • Fuel, maintenance, phone number and hours of attendance
  • Communications frequencies: ATIS, Tower, CTAF, Ground Control, APC/DEP, DEL, and RCO
  • Weather frequencies: ASOS and AWOS
  • Traffic-pattern altitude
  • Special operating information
  • Obstructions and in-flight hazards
  • Lighting aids (beacon, runway, REIL, VASI and approach lights)
  • Navaids: VORs, RBNs, VOT and ILS

  • Non-standard right-hand pattern clearly marked.

Airspace: A full-page graphic for every class C airspace, TRSA and selected class D areas. With this graphic you have the needed arrival references in one hand; both airport layout and airspace depiction. The two pages face each other; everything is right there at a glance, making it easy to use in the cockpit during flight.

Class C, D and TRSA pages show:

  • Boundaries and altitudes
  • Other nearby airspace entities, including special-use airspace
  • Visual checkpoints
  • Selected geographical features (cities, roads, lakes, rivers, etc.)
  • "Xpct" boxes (what the tower is likely to instruct)
  • Navaids (VORs and beacons)
  • State boundaries

Flight Guide provides an 8" x 10" or larger foldout graphic depiction for planning for each class B airspace. Each foldout contains a handy alphabetical listing, on the flap, of area airports with tower frequency, identifier, and page number.

Class-B foldouts show the same information as Class C, D and TRSA pages, in addition to the following:

  • IFR arrival & departure routes
  • VFR corridors
  • VFR flyways
  • Transition routes

Benefits:

   1. Compact

  • 5" x 5 1/2" x 1" thick
  • Fits in coat pocket

   2. Complete Coverage

  • Three volumes cover 48 states
  • Contains nearly 5000 airports coast to coast.

   3. Cockpit Friendly

  • Designed for one-handed use in the cockpit-just hold it at eye level during flight.
  • Handy page markers allow you to mark your pages and flip to them easily during flight.
  • Useful format allows you to see pertinent information-in just a glance.

   4. Cost Effective

  • Each Flight Guide comes with two revisions-Free!
  • The best coverage per dollar; no one else comes close!
  • More revised airport pages per year than the other guides.
  • Low annual renewal fee. Other services charge more and give you less.
  • The binder is guaranteed for life! It won't melt or shrink in the sun
  • Save money with our listed discounts and free pickups.
