The Mic Light (sometimes called a "lip" light) is the most innovative aviation cockpit light to come along in years. Built to military specifications, the Mic Light easily mounts under your headset's microphone and is operated completely "hands free."

Simply touch its plastic switch with your tongue and three LED lamps direct a powerful beam of NVG green light wherever your head is pointed, until you turn it off.

The NVG color won't wash out red text on charts like red lamps and filters do, yet it isn't so bright as to reduce your night vision outside the cockpit. (Military specifications required the Mic Light to be compatible with all night vision goggles and helmets and preserve dark adaptation.)

Power is provided by two AA batteries (not included) housed in a small pouch which mounts with a hook-and-loop fastener out of the way on the rear of your headset or helmet.

Includes universal mounting kit to allow it to be mounted to practically any headset microphone within minutes. Once mounted it can be taken on or off when needed.
