*BBQ lunch run by the Future Eagles Aviation Club as a fundraiser. This is a club for 8th-12th grade students. The Future Eagles Aviation Club provides an opportunity for students to meet on a regular basis to explore aviation and what it has to offer. No need to have any experience in aviation. Their club includes hands-on activities, guest speakers, field trips, flight simulators, charity and volunteer work and more. 	Ian Blair Fries, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon, and Senior FAA Aviation Medical Examiner. He began flying while in the United States Air Force, where he served as flight surgeon. He soloed in 1975, and currently flies a TBM. He holds ATP, Instrument Flight Instructor, and LearJet 35/36 ratings. He is a recognized aviation writer and frequent speaker. He serves on the AOPA Air Safety Foundation Board, co-chairs the AOPA Medical Advisory Committee, and is the Aviation Medical Consultant for the Teamsters Local 747. 	Bruce Landsberg has lead the AOPA Air Safety Foundation since May 1992. He is responsible for all foundation activities including program development, safety seminars, publications, the Online Safety Center, special educational and research projects, and donor cultivation. During his tenure, ASF has been nationally recognized with numerous awards on aviation safety leadership and educational program excellence. He writes the monthly "Safety Pilot" column in AOPA Pilot magazine, as well as a popular weekly blog in AOPA ePilot, and is a periodic contributor to AOPA Flight Training magazine. He serves on many committees to represent general aviation safety interests in the FAA, NASA, NTSB, National Weather Service, and various industry groups. ASF has become the leading general aviation safety organization conducting more than 200 free educational seminars annually, recertifying more flight instructors, and averaging more than 20,000 online course completions monthly. 	Jim Julius, MBA is the Owner of SportPlanesFlorida.com a Sarasota, FL company he founded two years ago as an LSA dealership and flight school. SportPlanesFlorida.com currently represents Remos Aircraft, Inc. and Jabiru USA Sport Aircraft, LLC. SPF flight school has graduated 21 new pilots during the last 18 months while accumulating over 1600 LSA flight school/rental hours. SPF has also helped introduce the use of LSA aircraft into several other Florida flight schools including FIT Aviation, LLC; Air Orlando Aviation, Inc.; and First Landings Aviation. Jim is a Private Pilot and the owner of a 1970 Cessna Cardinal. He founded SportPlanesFlorida.com after serving in several senior management and management consulting roles during his career. 	Amy Laboda is the Editor in Chief of Aviation For Women magazine, the official publication of Women in Aviation, International, an nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women find career opportunities in aviation and aerospace. Amy was a founding board member of Women in Aviation, International. She is also a member of the Aircraft Owners' and Pilots' Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
