Pilot CO Detectors for Aircraft

Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, and responsible for dozens of fatal aircraft accidents over the decades. In a piston aircraft, a compromised exhaust system can allow CO to enter the cabin without any visible warning. By the time symptoms appear, a pilot's cognitive function may already be impaired enough to prevent recognizing the threat. A CO detector is the only reliable way to know the gas is present before it becomes a crisis.
